Iran’s energy minister says Tehran has proposed seven areas for strengthening energy cooperation among member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The largest wind power plant, with the capacity of generating 50-megawatt electricity, was inaugurated east of Iran by Iran’s Minister of Energy Ali Akbar Mehrabian.
Renewable power plants with a total capacity of 13,000 megawatts are under construction in Iran, including a 780-megawatt plant being built in the southeastern Sistan and Baluchestan province, an official said.
